well after selling my d2 back in may, ive upgraded to an absaloute reliable, economic, nice to drive modern but impractical for my use HILUX, so ive just bought a 04 discovery, 7 seater with the sprinkler system installed, on d3 wheels, bit tatty here and there, solid chassis, 180k manual 11 months ticket, service history er think that’s bye the bye, but wait for it, no clutch, so tomoz it will do the same mpg as the HILUX, as it will be trailered home, then my bank account will get back to normal service buying d2 parts and other stuff to get this as a practical mode of transportation for our needs, lol.ps anybody wanna a HILUX in june as I might have one spare, :)

£710 quid, got there, 1 st impressions were ok, the guy was a genuine dude, not started it, stone cold, 2 full sets of keys, in he got, more life in a dead chicken,, o I thought, new battery for a start, jump start, 1st crack with life she fired easy, no rattles, purrs away, so we left it running whilst I set the trailer up etc, had a look underneath, solid as he said!!!!! So I thought things are good, had a look inside, what a fooking tip!!!! God I ain’t seen owt as crap up for a long while, so then looked at everything to see what spec as the dude didn’t know jack ****e, diff lock, heated seats, leather, park sensors, power fold mirrors, heated screen, air sus and ace all still on, original 6cd changer,Harmon lardons etc , loaded up and got it home, 20 mins with Henry, 2 times to empty, jobs looking better already, got steam cleaner out and gave it a good prewash, inside door pockets, door sills trim, small rubber mats etc, looking better again, then shampoo and sponge, came up a treat, took rad cover and engine cover off, bit of pre wash then jizer, came up well, don’t even think it has been egr’d, then daylight was going so as much as I got done, AE7D05A0-425E-416B-A554-115F32459E25.jpeg E004AE15-B893-4B8C-AAFF-E9CB13C7A608.jpeg
