.....mine slides back maybe 1cm then stops. Won't tilt up or anything, but if you push the button and kinda push the sunrooof up, it clicks and the slides back fully... I haven't really bothered to do anything about it, but it is very annoying!!.....Anyone, know what to do with this?????
ignore it....
mines exactly the same as yours and I have found ignoring it to be an effective solution...while I worry about more important things like rust, wheel bearings, break disks and so on.
Er.... Fair comment chap, but i don't need to worry about rust, brake discs, or wheel bearings. They are all fine...
And to ignore it is slightly lazy.
If its broken, i want it fixed.......
Fair comment! However, my air conditioning is on the list after the other stuff and before the sun roof.
If you do fix yours make sure you post a solution please
I expect it will involve taking everything apart, checking and correcting bent/worn tracks and then putting it all back together.
Why is that however many jobs I do on the Disco there still always seem to be plenty left to do? Which reminds me, the kids want me to fix the catch on the rear offside door so they don't have to wait for me to open if for them when we park.
Got a complete aircon system about to be stripped off a 200tdi disco if yu want it?
