Hey peeps, just thought I'd say be careful when shutting the Glovebox on the Discover II, came to shut mine yesterday and the rail bar at the top has disconnected itself therefore it wont shut. I took a look at how it could have fallen off and it only looks like it was glued on, yes... GLUED on. With such a vehicle I would have expected the Disco to take a bit more of a battering before it started to fall to bits.
Maybe I would have expected this sort of thing when buying such 4x4 like a Kia, but not from Landrover!! Disgusting really. After ringing Landrover they say its a big job as it needs a new dash - £400 worth! Great! What an inconvenience!!
I've also heard the LR3 glove box isn't much better? Feedback please. . . Thanks.
