Had the aircon regassed yesterday on a 2002 V8 Discovery. I have only owned it a few months and never had the bonnet up with the engine running. Aircon guy got freaked because the fluid in the two chambers for power steering and stability control were churning about when it was on idle. I have never seen anything like it before. Is this normal ? Drives ok, no warning lights etc.

Make sure that the reservoir's fixing is not loosened, put your hand on it and see if the churning is weakening......anyway that churning is due to the engines vibration translated into the reservoir........mine does it too.......if everything is working fine just forget about it.
