Disco box: what's involved?

I've seen all the posts for pros and cons, but what is actually required to fit it. Prop length? Gear and diff gear stick positions? Gearbox out? Any internal mods required? Speedo issues?

Currently 1985 90, Disco 300tdi, defender gearbox and transfer with disco rear axle - as I understand from the previous owner

if it already has a defender r380 in it and you want to replace that with a disco r380 you need one of these plus the top of your old box

its a straight fit ,just swap your speedo drive and hand brake assembly

It's an Lt77. So the diff lock linkage is compatible. And come through the trans tunnel in the same position?

the t boxes are all the same apart from ratio ,speedo drive and parts of hand brake
