Evenin all, does anyone need any bits of a 300TDi disco? The engine, tbox, axles, wheels, and a few bits of the inside are taken already, but its got an otherwise complete untorn interior, nearly new running boards that Ill probably be ebaying otherwise. Let me know!

did it ever occur to you that maybe there's no one who wanted any bits orf it ?

or did you expect there to be 10,000 replies saying thanks but no thanks

Actually, I could do wif a small item, well, two - the plastic square thingy and I guess the skirt thingy too cos I don't think they come apart, that goes round the low ratio gear stick and fits into the centre console in front of the main gear stick....does that make sense??:p - mine bust the other day! Also one of the covers that go under the seat to blank off the storage area.

have u got the rear ( tailgate ) door lock mechanism ( the catch part ) ? and would it be the same as a 200tdi ? thanks

Small square bit should be ok, ill look tomorrow!

I can get the lock mech also, shouldn't be a problem!

"I fink the problem is "The engine, tbox, axles, wheels, and a few bits of the inside are taken already"" - I know, but im sure someone will want odd bits, like gearknob gaitors, locks, etc :D

Dewin - my 90 t/box will be available if you are desperate, but its the low geared edition. Where are you based also?

Oo storage space blanking covers i don't think are any good - i think they are both broken. Found out today that the bloke who sold the mug i bought it from had blu-tacked bits of the interior in, where the clips had been broken. Hmm...

Luckily I've kept hold of our Mondeo because of the cr:Dp prices people are offering for it so I'll tax that tomorrow and hopefully have the Disco up and running in the next fortnight....I'm based at LLanllyfni, about 7 miles from Caernarfon. To be honest mate I've got no idea about the different geared versions, I'm a newbie to Landy's but on a fast learning curve!

OK, my 90 box is lower geared, so basically you need more engine revs for the same speed, so you get better acceleration but less top speed. You probably don't want it for your disco.

And, if you ever need help, or fancy off roading, let us know!

Thanks for the offer of help Boydy much appreciated, as being mechanically thick as I am at the moment and having an irate woman buzzing around you is not good when a Disco breaks
