I bottled it when it came to buying a D3 but yours looks great!!

Rich

many thks , has been a lot of hard work and best thing i ever did was to buy the D3 , in for a penny , lol

did made sure first all the belt and oil pump cover was replaced

Zero mods apart from an external anderson plug for charging/jumping duties and a Webasto oval timer.
As I always modded my previous cars I was determined to get the highest spec I could so I couldnt do any useless mods, its worked so far.

that looks really smart and like the colour

notice you’ve also got the plastic mudflaps fitted, bought a set ages ago, managed to get the fronts on but by christ the backs are good fun in trying to line everything up, tempted to fit some defender rubber ones, ensuring there not too long for when i reverse, lol

that’s the first Anderson plug i’ve heard of being fitted to a D3

My other two cars have the anderson plugs fitted so when I saw a post on the D3 forum where a guy had fitted one I copied his idea modded it a bit and fitted it, quite easy, makes trickle charging the battery a doddle
If you have the cable its quite a cheap mod just need the plug/maxi fuse and holder and some cable lugs, galv bit of scrap metal and some stainless bolts, all available off of ebay for not a lot.
