Disco 235/70 R 16 Tyres!

Just purchased 5 x 235/70 R 16 Colway C Trax MT offroad tyres from 4x4 tyres.com @ £48.18 per tyre with free postage & carraige! I thought that this was rather a bargin, have I been hoodwinked or did I do OK?

i bought 5 brandnoo 235/85 16's fer less than 200 notes

the price werent bad butr as the company has now gone belly up, what are yer gunna do if the fail ?????

I dont understand why people buy these cheap remoulds (although I currently hve bronco grizzly claws but i got them 2nd hand for a dirt cheap price).

From what I have read, a set of greenway machos for example will last 15k miles if your lucky, but if you spend twice the amount on a good set of good BF goodrich m/ts they will last in the region of 50k miles.

**** off mate i paid £80 for four nearly new broncos, if they hadnt of been so cheap I wouldnt of got them.

i take it you didnt bother to read the rest of my post or u woulda seen i made a genuine point. ffs some people.

i just got rid of my grizzly's. all 5 on wheels for 160 on ebay. thank **** they have gone. they were de-laminating and everything. pieces of ****. ive now got a set of 5 BF MTS for £250 bargain.


remoulds are cheap. but its personal choice at the end of the day. i would steer clear of bronco though... what a **** company.

are u being awkward and refusing to see my point on purpose?

all im saying is you can pay £50 or £60 a tyre and have to replace it after a year or so, or pay £110 odd a tyre and have it last 3 years or more. See the logic?

I completely agree mate, I definately wouldnt get them again, not even for the price I paid for them. Just out of interest how well do the BFG MTs perform ON road...do they howl much?

yeh i do understand that, but unless you need new tyres urgently i personally think its far better to save up and then get the more expensive but better quality and longer lasting tyres.

or go to old sodbury !

oh! i see the logic.. so joe skint has only got 120 quid so its logical to buy one expensive tyre and have one brand noo tyre and one bald worn thing.

and it would be totally illogical to buy two cheaper ones
