disco 2 v8 3.9 4.0ltre

now that we have resolved the problems of 3.9 or 4.oltre i will go for a 3.9 and refit my 4.0ltre top end also reengineer the hole for the sensor.
when the engine is split from the autobox does the torq convertor stay in the bell housing or does it come out seprate from the engine.
do you have to secure it in place before removal.

the 3.9 block has no casting apature to go against if you get it wrong you will also weaken the block as it cuts though one of the main strengthening supports in the block
