disco 2 suspension

can any body help me with the fault on my disco the rear air bags will not inflate, both air bags hold air and the compressor is produceing air but only if i manually trip the relay it is like the system is not being told to work ,i assume because the relay is not being activated it also doesnt work the 2 solinoid valves down by the pump any ideals would be great as i am at a bit of a loss

Both ? could be a bad electrical connection on the compressor, they are easy to remove. Give all the electrical connections a good clean and re-connect all the pipes and connectors before re-fitting, and start up, thecompressor should start straight away. Have you checked the fuse (5th from the left) in the fusebox under the bonnet, the relay is the 2nd one, swap it over with the adjacent one to test it.
