Please can any one help me, I know there is a lot of issues with the 3 amigo's coming on and staying on. But I have the opposite, when I turn the ignition to position 2 all the normal warning lights come on apart the 3 amigo's. I can confirm that I have no working ABS or TC and the Hill Descent just gives 3 audible warning tones when I turn it on. Any ideas before I pay a garage mega bucks?

I presume so I have only just brought it. And didn't notice the lights not working. It has a full LR service until a few thousand miles ago so, again only presuming, I would have thought so.

Ok,

If i was you I would open the dash to see if some scumbag has taped over rhe lights with black tape. It is quite common. One of the reasons it is a check point on the purchasing check list.

After that I aould look to see if anyone local has proper diagnostics for it. Where are you based?

Cheers

Thank you for your help, I have removed the dashed and opened up the clocks to find a printed circuit board with LEDs and no tape. I am based down on Thorny Island near Portsmouth. I will see if any of the local groups has a reader.

Very strange, as long as you are sure that the lights / warning symbols have not been blacked out then either look for a local diagnostics if you cN find one or try another dash if you can borrow one.

Cheers

Thank you again I will post back on here the results when I finally get to the bottom of it.

Please do let us know how you get on.

Very interesting issue. Never heard of this happening. Have heard of tape over bulbs, even painted black.....

Ref the HDC beeps, mine does this because the hi /lo switch on the tbox has broken. Must get it changed.

Cheers

Turns out some low life has smashed the LEDs. Took the cluster apart to find all 3 have been damaged. It's only thanks to you as I dismantled it to double check and on closer inspection I found them. New cluster it is!
