Hi. I have the P0307 and P0300 codes on my 2003 Discovery II. Trying to replace all the ignition coils, spark plugs and wires. When searching for ignition coils there seem to be two options listed on my favorite parts website(atlanticbritish/ roverparts.com for sourcing parts in america). One is part number ERR6045K and the other is part number ERR6566. I believe it’s the former, rather than the latter, but I want to be sure before I purchase. Can anyone be of any assistance?

Hi mate, welcome to the forum!
You might like to go to the "Introduce yourself" part of the forum and do just that!

And yes, do please tell us the root of the problem as that'll help us to help you! :) :) :)

Why do you think the coil is at fault? It wouldn't be my first bet
Have you done a compression test? What do the plugs look like?
IMG_6313.jpegIMG_6312.jpegHaven’t pulled the plugs yet but I have the codes for misfire in cylinder 7 and a random misfire. Will be pulling the plugs later this week, just diagnosed last night. I can only assume the whole ignition system is original so while I change the plugs, I’m going to replace everything(plugs, wires, coils). The ABS light is on and the engine light is on.

I’ll do that thank you, just recently purchased and this is my first Land Rover, so it’s been a learning experience.

Those 2 codes could both be related to #7 shopping with the engine light.
I'm guessing it's the thor engine with the 'banana' manifold and not the box type. This uses a wasted spark system so if it was a faulty coil then you'd have another cylinder with a misfire too. #4 if i recall.
I'll bet it's the plug lead or the plug, possibly a worn camshaft lobe
The abs light should go out over 5mph
