DISCO 2 FUEL FILTER

Warning light comes on at regular intervals despite draining filter & stripping & cleaning sensor unit. Is it possible to test sensor unit or are there other faults that can arise.

That sensor is not the best design, it can make tricks just for fun, you can get rid of it without remorse cos as long as you replace the filter regulary it's quite useless, let it unplugged and isolate the connector

Hi, My 04 TD5 never had the sensor fitted from new.

I unplugged mine and taped it up in plastic bag
and change filter every 5000 miles
