Hi, quick question,

Can the front shockers be removed without taking off turrets, I.e. Jack car body up as high as possible leaving axle at full drop, undo top bolt and lower bolts, remove spring and shocker.

Turrets are corroded and funds limited after new gearbox, clutch, etc etc etc.

Thanks

In answer to my own question the answer is no you can't as the top shocker mounting bolt won't come all the way out releasing the shocker as just tried, will have to save up for 2 new turrets.

If it's only the bolts shearing off , you can get a ring with the bolts on it. Only a few quid

Unless the turrets are rotten, there's no need to change them

Cheers

Yes turrets are slightly rotten round the bottom so will need to replace them, thought the bolts come with the spring housing, mind you it's a td5 not 300tdi and think they are different.

Thanks
