disco 1 leak ???

hi all, just had my head gasket renewed (again!!!) and i drove up a mountain in spain (very hot today) and at the top it was leaking!... i thought the worst that the gasket had gone again, but after cooling down there wasnt much coolant lost, and she was fine and no signs of overheating on the way down might be a silly question but is the water soposed to **** out of the expansion tank when it gets too hot ?? is this normal ?...thanks in advance

what did the temp gauge read? if it was normal, possible that there was too much coolant put in
