Just make sure you empty the Disco before you cross the Tamar. We don't accept coloured beads, glass and baubles as currency in Devon anymore.

Cool. Got steering guard and heavy duty tow hitch with good recovery points, also have inter turbo tyres. Was thinking more of protection and lift kits. I'm in the Falmouth area.

DO NOT FIT A LIFT KIT!
You don't need it and it will lead to a world of pain and expense.

Diff guards can be useful but can also trap muck and water, leading to premature rust failure of the diff pan.

if your really concerned then a couple of diff guards can be had pretty cheaply but make sure you take them off and clean after use otherwise like trewy says they will trap crap and rust your diff pans.

wouldnt bother with a lift unless you really need it.

why not just find someone to go out with and im sure you will be surprised what a standard disco can do with a decent set of rubber

:welcome:

Just make sure it has some decent all terrain tyres on it (Or mud terrains if you don't plan on doing much normal road driving) and take it along some green lanes, get a feel for both the car, and your capabilities. Once you've got that, you will have more idea of what you want in order to cater for your needs. Otherwise, you risk wasting money on things you may never need.

Dunt listen to em - it's a myth - spacers will have no noticeable bearing on your bearings ( :D ) and why should they? Go for it. It's just the anti mob at it! They are a bit bling and will make yer motor look a bit meaner but why the hell not!

Oh...if the wheels project beyond the wheel arches it will fail an MOT though.
