It is literally as above, get the sockets out and climb underneath.

Remember that the towbar does a good job of protecting the tank if you go offroad! So think about what you will use to protect it once the tow hitch is off. There are various options on the market.

So to remove it its fairly obvious what to remove? And it shouldn't be to difficult to remove?

I will be getting a tank guard! I just think the tow bar looks terrible and the facts its been highered and then had a towbar fitted make it seem pointless so I think it will be fine!

Any suggestions where to get a tank guard and steering guard for not to much money as I won't be doing to extreme offroading or greenlaning!

Cheer for everyones help nice to know there's people out there who want to help!!! :)

yup - easy to see - one bolt either side at the front of the tow bar A frame (bit of a bugger to get to tho, coz of the fool tank) and two bolt clamping up thrugh the drop plate thru the bumper (big and rusted solid usually). As for the plug - just follow the bear (wire).

Personally I don't rate steering guards, they can get you into as much trouble as they save you from! Especially in mud and snow. I have Sumo steering bars which are a better option I reckon.

On the tank guard issue, lots of people making them including Guardian
