I'm looking at ordering a window tint kit from flea bay but they only list them for the 99 discoverys onwards will it still fit a 96 or are there differences guys

Cheers

be careful with the rear window it's got a slight dish to it that easily causes trapped air that is extremely difficult to get rid of I've just done mine out of a plain roll of tint film that I used my spare glass to cut the templates the side windows are fairly simple but that rear one I'm probably going to get done professionally to loose the bubbles and creases

halfrauds defender kits are good for the side windows thats what iv got on mine just make sure you have the time to work it onto the window or you get bubbles everywhere. and for removing the backing to tint film stick some sellotape to the backing then roll it off using the tape as a tab

A friend of mine does tinting professionally, the important part most people don't do is to form the film on the outside of the glass first. Use a knife to trim to the correct shape (make sure you know which side is the sticky, and have that side facing outwards on the outside of the window (so the removable backing is the closest layer to you - think about it and treble check), then use a heat gun to gently heat the film and chase out bubbles/wrinkles. Once you have done this make sure the inside of the window is properly clean, use fairy liquid to degrease. Then remove the backing, apply lots of soapy water to the adhesive side and the glass, then start chasing bubbles out from inside. If you skimp 10% on prep, the result will look 60% worse.

I used my spare glass to get the shape then used a spray bottle with soapy water but still have bubbles in the rear screen  thinking of getting that one redone professionally and a little lighter than the limo I've messed up
