Well I thought I would mention my recent negative experience with the above supplier. I orderered 3 parts, I waited patiently to see the online tracking progress past "processing" but when that had been processing for several days I rang up to check and the phone was answered "hello" no Buckley Brothers or anything and I made an equiry as to which stage my order was at. He (whoever it was) took my details and said he would get back to me (which he didn't!) the next thing I could see online is that both orders are closed. wtf? I thought, this was shortly followed by a payapal refund notification! No explanation or anything? and its certainly been a brief but poor customer experience and I will never use them again. o_O

I used them for window seals. 24 hour service, no problems at all, very helpful, but they are pretty old and crusty, their shop/garage isn't the best set up. But I probably would use them again, at least based on my service.

If you think that's bad then how about ordering, paying and receiving goods that are wrong and or defective then having to pay the carriage to send them back whilst waiting for the right ones to turn up, same time scale and it cost you to send stuff back, yeah mate, real hard done by you are.

Chalk it up and stop whining, as for Buckleys, great fellas, do their best and while Paddocks etc, sell cheap chink junk fast for a profit and have unpaid interns in offices these guys don't.

"Chalk it up and stop whining??? Real hard done by you are!?" We have all had the negative purchasing experiences that you make a statement about, but ...on this occasion I felt I would post a listing on the forum relating to the situation.
You don't actually know me so cut the personal crap. If a member can't give an honest opinion of their own experience as a review to potential other customers whats the point of a members forum? Its stupid responses like yours that typify certain types of behaviours and certain individuals that frequent members sites unfortunately. Opinions are like arseholes everyone has one! Or is it every arsehole has an opinion. Hmmmmm.....

At least yer got yer money back.

Yes there was that thankfully, but I guess I felt it would have been courteous at least to either call me back which he said he would do or drop me an email explaining why they closed my order and refunded the payment, either of which isn't that difficult irrespective of age experience etc tbh. But heyho it seems to happen a lot more nowadays unfortunately.

I go to Buckley's quite often, a round journey of at least 30 miles, whenever i'm there they are always snowed under with online orders but John and Pete always have time to talk and help with anything i need.
They run the business togeather, no secretary like some other online providers, i think that your experience is unfortunately a very rare occurance in my estimation.
If you're not happy, then go elsewhere. Simple's...

Well as I have already said I wont be using them again based upon my personal experience. I fully appreciate the more traditional type of business where you deal face to face, but... if you cant manage the web side of things don't offer it as a service as it may well result in being unable to fulfil customer expectations. Simples!....

They may have simply forgot to get back to you. Slagging them on the web before writing a gentle email to them to ask why the order was cancelled would have been my choice. Ask if products are out of stock and you should place yer order next month instead.

I wasn't slagging them off at all and as for forgetting I appreciate everyone forgets but it was within 4-5 mins of me ringing them that my order was closed and receiving the Paypal refund so it wasn't too much to expect a call back after they had looked at my order as they said they would do is it??? Especially as I am the service user not the service provider, crikey this is turning into a WOKE post! lolo_O

If you, ve had a crap experience why not share it?
I've had crap service from paddocks, craddock and bearmach but unless I make the bits myself I'm stuck with them.

What did you order?

What did you order?

It wasn't anything special and it was listed on the website so I thought it was something that they would be able to provide as a retailer. I have been around the block enough to know that things are not always in stock and maybe subject to a delay so why not present that info on the website or at least let your customers know via telephone or email its not that difficult or a modern concept. Anyway it was just a simple posting about my experience not a UN or EU Brexit Parliamentary issue!

3 parts... roof rack, bonnet and the bit of plastic that pushes into the rear behind the electrical connector?
