Having now fitted a 3rd party central locking system and bought a disklok and clutchclaw I would like to disable the alarm system

I assume that if I just pull the connectors from the alrm the vehicle will not start.

So how easy is it to sort out?

You want someone to post on a Public forum how to disable and bypass an alarm system on one of the most stolen vehicles in the uk>??!?!

To resurect this thread.
Any lightfingered johnny on here like to pm me with some info. My 98 300tdi defender. Has for years required me to switch off the imobiliser with the fob. There is no motion sensor fitted. Last night at 12.30 I had the adrenaline rush that is an alarm (which I never set) raising hell and waking all my neighbours. The fob did nothing to stop the horn sounding but did disable the immobiliser? Finally disconnected the battery. Can someone tell me how to permenantly disable the system . I never use it as I have several mechanical deterents fitted. Do these spyder bypass plugs work?

So ive ripped out the siren and will leave the battery disonnected for the next few nights until im happy that that might have been the problem
