Direct 4X4 roof tent system

Hi Guys,

i done a search but i can't see anything about this package.
As an 19 year old I'm on a pretty tight budget, so i was looking to find an affordable roof tent and rack for my defender and i came across this package.

just wondering if anyone has any experiences with Direct4x4 or this roof tent?

it comes with everything needed, tent, rack, all fixings and even the zip-on annexe all for £1200. They even quoted me £70 for postage to the Isle of Man which i think is very fair.

That looks excellent! I might seriously consider that for my D2 when I get some spare cash.

That rack looks good too, space at the front for extras, tent at the back. Would work well on the 90.

that is cheap, our second hand tent cost a grand with annexe (howling moon)

I have that tent rebranded as a rebel 4x4 one, but, it is identical.

Really can't complain about it, great tent - we put a memory foam topper in to make it a bit more comfortable, but, otherwise it is good.

(and we paid a fair bit for it ex-display with no roof rack - that really is an amazing deal)

What the above deal for 50% of the advertised price? So tent, rack, the lot for £600ish?

i should be getting one before Christmas so i will report back with my findings!

Yes 50% off but it's only for a rack (different deal to the OP, no tent). I've just ordered a full length roof rack from MCB 4x4 for a 110 with a mesh base. It's an open design at the back so a roof tent will fit and it's costing just £310
