Aloha all!
I have a set of aux lamps on my nudge bar that dont go. They use the factory wiring kit with the relay etc by the under bonnet fuse panel. Problem is, there seems to be no earth to either front light. Do we know where the earth for them is? Has anyone had the relay unit fail? Mine won't even click when I press the button.
Dont be shy!! :)

they earth through the chassis... no click suggests relays are not energising..

Take a single live wire feed from the battery to the live on the lamp, to test if they work, then start to troubleshoot from there..

The earth is taking from the lamp mounting post either via the metal work of the nudge bar to the vehicle, or is taken as a seperate wire from the bulb holder to a an earthing point on the vehicle. The relay can fail because of it's location on the inner wing, after a time rain water can build up in the relay or the weather proof plastic shroud (if fitted) covering the relay.
