Hi everyone,
I’ve got a 2001 discovery 2 td5 and a few weeks ago it started playing up when unlocking.
When I press the unlock button inside or turn the key in the door to the unlock position it causes the dash, rear view mirror and stereo to all illuminate and only unlocks the drivers door?? If I press the lock button it will lock all doors. Sometimes once I’ve locked the drivers door and unlocked again it will cause the “M” and “S” lights to flash also.

So far I’ve tried:
Taking the inside fuse box out and cleaning everything, checked every fuse.
Taken out the BCU, cleaned and checked all wiring.
Brand new battery.
Cleaned red plug to ecu incase of oil ingress.
Checked the under bonnet fuses and all look good.
I have used my Hawkeye diagnostic scanner and have not found anything wrong…

I’m pretty stuck for ideas now and I’m hoping someone can shed some light on this issues!
I will attach a video of me pressing unlock button inside so the issue can be seen.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, replace the interior fusebox with a known good one cos it's very suspect, untill it's not ruled out any other troubleshooting is feckless

Ok, I will try and source a good fuse box and see wether that sort the issue. It’s also stuck in superlock on every door apart from drivers door, any info on how to get the doors open? Cheers
