Difference between 8mm & 12.5mm swivel kits ??

Ordering new swivel kits for my 97 300tdi but there is a 12.5mm swivel seal and a 8mm seal .

Whats the difference ??

there shouldnt be there has only ever been ftc3401 fitted on disco ,

They are from Paddocks spares , this is the title :

Swivel Kit - no ball (with 12.5mm swivel seal) - front axle to JA032850


Or

Swivel Kit - no ball (with 8mm swivel seal) - front axle to JA032850


I dont get it though as they are the same number

you need ftc3401 9mm (8mm)seal unless very early rr axle fitted

So the 8mm ones will be ok dude??

Morning chaps, been a while, time for a thread revival.

I have to do this and facing the same issue, I've got a 1998 Disco 300tdi, non ABS
Chassis number is SALLJGMF7WA###### so does that mean I am looking for parts "FROM JA032850"?

Also, I have no idea if I need 8mm or 12.5mm

Appreciate any advice, cheers
