diff to axle instant gasket?

struggling to get a paper gasket in good time (shops closed for holidays etc), so wondering if I can use an instant gasket type seal for the diff to the axle?

If so, does it have to be a certain type or have certain properties? I read to use "RTV" gasket? but I don't know what this is....

the photo is of the one I have in the garage just now.

just a oil resistant rtc silicone sealant just ensure both surfaces are spotless and oil free use petrol or brake clean etc

What is RTC silicone? Just a type of silicone?

He meant RTV.

typo rtv, that stuff is more than adequate

For those that don't know RTV stands for and are wondering its room temperature vulcanising .
