Hi was trying to recover a friend of mine last night and think ive manged to blow my front diff
just woundering how hard of a job is it to get the diff out its a 300tdi 1995 thanks
Just got the diff out thanks to your help got it out but theres nothing ovisley wrong with it but pretty confidnt that it is the diff at fault is there anythink i should be looking for
Ive decided to give it a rest for today but gonna strip it down in the morning again how is the cv attached to the half shaft is it a clip like on a cars cv joint
i said worn stub axle because the same happened to me.
I kept getting a high amount of revs with no go, sometimes on a hill climb under hard acceleration. Worn stub axle caused slippage, i thought it was a half shaft at 1st.
