Diff lock - not working

Yeah, I flipped it back over but my button does not pop out and there is no firm ratchet any more, it is very hit and miss.
I have to pull up the handbrake then hit it for the button to come out enough and lock it in position!!

You may find that its actually the button itself sticking. Pull it off and see how stiff the rod is.
 
Made my own diff lock leaver, drilled a hole in the bell housing on the drivers side of course and fitted two locking nuts on the spigot coming out of the transfer box. Used an old 1/4 inch drive socket with u/j and extension bar that pops out in the car by 2" made a little levering fit on top with a black gaiter over it so it's neat....works well! (socket is wire locked on to spigot so it doesn't come off)
 
I don't why but I hope I'll find out by playing with the t-box and I'm going to write here everything.
First I'm going to clean the entire t-box with steams and try to streap out what I can without taking te gears out.
