Hi peeps I wonder if you good people would give some advise. I had to engage the diff lock yesterday as I was off road, this was the first time I had used it, and I suspect it may be the first time it had been engaged. I followed the instructions I reversed and then went forward. The diff handle engaged easy and it drives as normal however the light is still on and I have driven her about 5 miles but still on. Will it harm my landy? BTW she is a 300tdi 1996

As long as your diff lock stick is manually back into the non diff lock position shouldn't be a problem just check your linkages on the lock stick to make sure it is certainly disengaged

put it back into difflock drive forward 10 metres and then take out of difflock and reverse for as far as you can if its engaged it might help it disengage or it could just be a sticky switch, as said get under and have a look .

Thanks the diff stick is certainly in and it seems to be driving fine however I will try the longer reversing thanks a lot!
