maybe you could try that new thing that out, postal service or the equally new courier service.
i think the idea is that you pay money and the folk that have what you want package it up in either a envelope or if it a bit bigger , in a box. they then put your name and address on the packaging and some one either takes it to a office or someone comes and collects it.
now comes the magic bit, anything from a few days to a few weeks later you get a knock at yer door and a man will be standing there with your package containing what ever it is is that you had paid for.
the good part is that because the yank dollar is so crap thesedays you can buy stuff from yank land and even including postage its a lot cheaper than you could buy on this side of the water.
recently ave bought UJ's and a A/C compressor fer me jag from amerikey and both were a fraction of the cost over here. so if you wanna save a few quid and yer dint mind a short wait buy amercian and take advantage of the **** dollar exchange rate
