I have a cracked block on my S2A 2.25 petrol and I (probably) have found a diesel engine with the same block, to swap it out with. How much can I leave in? I am mostly thinking about the cylinders and crank shaft - they ought to be the same when the block is the same - right?

cylinders? cranks are actually different as diesel is made stronger, but it would be suitable for petrol too
