I have a two-liter diesel engine with a crack head he's it possible to put a 2.25-liter diesel head on a 2-liter engine block.
 
I used a 2.25 composite head gasket on my 2 L, But from my vague memory there was a hole missing on the gasket for one of the waterways at the back of the head which I had to make.
You might be better asking on the series 2 forum, but even on there were very few 2 L still running.
