diagnostics

hi guy's,hope sombody can help me out here,iv'e been on a couple weeks back regarding the diagnostic's obd,the problem is i cant get sync mate or the eas kicker lite to communicate,ie no blue light coming on,ive checked all wire feeds that i should be getting to obd and everything seem's ok, the fuse is fine also,is there anything that iam forgetting to check,or am i needing to look at the becm unit .cheers pat.

Why not try the Kicker on another P38.....just to make sure it's powering up???
It seems you are assuming it's the OBD socket and everything else on the car that may be the problem.
If in doubt, get on to [email protected] or send a PM to BBSguy for his opinion.

how you doing irishrover,thanks for the reply,there was a guy that stayed ten mins from me, went round to see if i could plug in the eas kicker and the syncmate and he said no couldn't believe it, two min job and he said no,there is always one,anyway pm colin waiting for reply,is there any other thing that i should check,posted on the forum to see if there is anybody near me no joy yet,cheers pat
