diagnostics not reading my ecu

does anyone know what the fault might be, i had becm done so surely only leaves engine ecu

obd connector contacts corroded!

it reads the becm but not ecu, plus the check endine light and glow plug light dont come on so plug something major

prolly not plug if its not running or owt, the question was why isnt it reading engine ecu not why is it ****ed!! i would get the multi meter out and see if there is any power to the ecu first!!!

you know what wires to check, everyone seems to say diesel ecu's never fail
