This side of there..
I currently have a 4.0 se gems on lpg, a 4.6 HSE gems petrol and a 4.6 vogue thor petrol..
Due to this I am also skint, going grey and have high blood pressure.
Having read many articles on the best diagnostic kit to purchase Its a bit of a minefield, if it works for one car, one job it understandably gets a good write up.
I require diagnostic kit for the above 3 vehicle that can read, write and reset things like LT fuel trims, communicate with all the systems, be reliable, mobile and usable on my next p38 at no extra cost.
It has been discussed many times before on this and other forums but the flavour of the month changes from one post to the next...
Which one works for you ?

Nanocom is very good.

Last time I looked, an additional licence was about GBP 50?

You would need one licence for GEMS and one for Thor.

I don't think that Nanocom reads the LPG ecu.

I think Nanocom is always the answer to this question. I've not noticed the 'flavour of the month' type of uncertainty. Some people have other diagnostic solutions, eg Lynx, but they are less capable systems.

If you have more than one, nanocom is the way to go it seems. I have a Faultmate MSV2 Extreme, linked to the the Blue P38.. to link it to another and have dual vehicle would cost more than i got the MSV2-E for.

Thanks, i didnt know that nanocom can reset fuel trims and by flavour of the month I meant, all threads on a post would be recommending a certain bit of kit, then a limitation would be pointed out, more kit suggested then all new threads would be recommending a different type of kit.
I just want the best option to read and clear all faults, test mode function and input new parameters when required.
I use a laptop for the LPG setup, would I get more options just looking at software solutions.??

Nanocom then. Best by a mile.
