Hi all, my 2004 td5 started rattling and squeaking on the way home from a laning trip yesterday. There was a little bit of wading involved which gave the engine a nice soaking in some brown water. On investigation it's coming from one of the 3 pulleys on the passenger side. I've got AC, PAS and a stand alone pulley on that side. I've had the pulley off and it seems fine. The power steering also seems fine. The only thing I noticed is the AC doesn't continuously spin with it turned on as of the clutch isn't engaging properly, all bearing seem fine once again. Is there a way of checking for a fault on any of this lot? I've done the old screwdriver to the ear trick but it sounds the same between all 3.
