Assuming you are talking a single tent or caravan, I should think it would be OK to camp here. Many have before, there are a few level-ish patches, and outside tap in the yard can be accessed anytime.

Oh that's very kind! I am on a course for 3 months starting next week but once I'm into that I'll drop you a message and see if we can arrange something!

Good plan. Wintertime is best anyway, the overgrowth dies back, and the lanes arent quite so busy with dog walkers and cyclists. Message me when you see a suitable time window to come down! :)

The thing! C'mon TM...pick it up mate!

Seen the movie years ago, cant really remember en now though! :D

This thing!

So the series had an MOT today, two failed lights, two bits of welding and imbalance on rear brakes, not bad!

Good. Probably worth taking off the rear drums and having a look. Quite possible one of them is full of fluid, or just worn shoes.

I will get in touch about the welding when I have a moment, unless you have other options locally. :)

Hi all. Little teaser for the D&C fraternity. Anyone recognise this 'lane', and have you crossed it ? Was out walking with the missus and took the snap. Personally only crossed it on a motorbike and would normally use the crossing upstream.

Would think somewhere in the Tamar valley, think I have seen a pic before, probably posted by Badger
. I wouldn't drive through it either, water ruins yer motor.

Lopwell lower crossing :-D I had a bad experience with this one earlier this year is on my avoid list. would be keen to go ojt for some lanes with any groups goind out in the area once weather gets nice and wet. anywhere from East Cornwall upto newton abbot / bovey tracey area im keen to tag along. :)

Completely.
Ground damage, causing ruts, etc. is unacceptable on a public byway.
If you want to do that, go to pay and play.

Now i do agree with you and i personally would not go if i knew i was going to get stuck and cause damage but i also do like abit of a challenge and tend to avoid going in the summer when its nothing but dry and dusty. would be keen to tag along when you guys do go out.

If anyone wants a good bit of water, i saw someone ploughing through the water on the Bigbury tidal road from Averton Gifford. Not sure if it was an incoming tide but i'd much rather do it on a falling tide just in case! Plus on a falling tide the water won't be as salty so not as much rust damage:p

Never tried it myself but would have made a great photo!!
