Ahhhh now i see what you mean!
Yes a proper 110 would be nice actually, although I'm not a fan of having the second row of seats, I'd like just the big tray area or a tilt. Mmmmm now a tilt 110 for the summer ..........

I thought i was going to be away for a few years doing this job so it would have just crumbled again. Still, gives me the chance to dream of landies again :)

Muds,

Glad to hear it, should see you all after Christmas then hopefully :)

90/110 came in truck cab, you can fit a canvas tilt ;) Also full canvas, hard top etc. Usually much cheaper than station wagons too! :)

Series 3 in the Briton this week, didn't sound too silly for the money either. And a 90 with windows in the hard top and 200Tdi, probably worth a look anorl. Shame Ive got three motors already!:D

I know, just what i thought, even on the official ex mod sales they are 9,500, unregistered!!!!! You could get a really nice 90 for that!!!!

Land Rover, Wolf 90 300Tdi Soft Top RHD, #68723 - MOD Sales, Military Vehicles & Used Ex MOD Land Rovers for Sale

Yes I guess they are this years release there's a lot of them out there on the second hand market.. Registered. Was speaking to turboman earlier and j know of a series 2a diesel 1966 free road tax and been told it's relativly tidy for £1500

I think I want to go coils this time. I loved the series and still miss it but a few creature comforts would be nice if I'm going to keep it for a while.

Maybe not the one i posted, had a proper look at it and too much for me.

Muds, yes hopefully. I'm trying to get a job in Cornwall if i can but might end up contracting up country and home on weekends but we will have to see about. I really want a job with first great western in Penzance or Seacore but they don't come up very often. :(

If you know anyone in recruiting then yes please! I've sent them a CV and they say on the website that if you don't hear anything within two weeks then you are not needed.

:fingers crossed:

Hopefully start looking at the new western route next weekend :)

Cheers Martyn!
I might scour the internet for a 300tdi lump, get it sent to my house and then whatever i buy will end up being a tdi :D

I think dorm 300tdis have electric fuel systems and I believe they have a EGR which can cause problems, I don't think early 300 or200 have any major electrics

Ummmm muds, thios is land rovers, not land doggers..... Fnar fnar!

Cheers Martyn from what i remember, the 300tdi just has one electrical connection for the fuel isolator on the whole block? Certainly less electronics than the td5?

Right all suggestions for a pub meet, date , venue, time e.g breakfast, `brunch , Lunch , cream tea , high tea , dinner , Supper ....or all of the above ..:D

Bring maps , capes and masks ...

oops sorry ..wrong forum ..:pound:

I thought the pub at Scorrier was as good as any we have been to, food and beer were good, and its quiet enough to spread the maps out. :)

How about Thurs Oct 30? Is that ok for everyone?
