Hello All!

Hope you are all well! Just been reading through the posts as I obviously haven't been on in a while. I'm still yachting and off the coast of turkey at the moment.

Spoke to the chap who bought my series and he is enjoying it. Kind of making me miss it now!

I'm looking at an ex military tithonus for my next landy! Seen a few and the look good! Just wish they did a 90 version...

Hope your all ok and enjoying the rain and mud!

May see you soon hopefully if i can find a job in Britain after Christmas.

Nice to see yu again! :)

Why not just look for a nice 110, they are becoming sought after now, it should appreciate in value if you look after it. Ex military can be a mixed bag.

Dried up a bit the last few days, not so sticky now as last week.

I wish i kept the series now!

I love the ex electricity board 110s with the shutters, I'm going to be keeping the next one for quite a while so I'm going to choose carefully.

How is the farm going? Cows and wife okay?

Hello stranger! Are you home for Christmas then?

Hello!

Yes I'll be home for ten days, I'm not enjoying the job and I'll have saved enough money to pay for the wedding and a bit extra for my next land rover :) so I'm going to try and find a job around cornwall.

How are you and the mister? Have you moved yet?

We al thought you were nuts to sell it tbh! :(

Jess0 engineering has got an ex Leccy 110, quite nice, although he seems to be having a few issues with the Td5

I didn't mean a def 110, I meant a real 110, say about 84 or 85, maybe a 2.5 petrol, I think that would be a great buy if you could find a good one.

Farm is ok, cattle and doris are in peak condition :)

Noo  still up for sale , but it's looking like Mr has got another draft at Culdrose , so we'll be stopping here for the foreseeable

Ahhhh now i see what you mean!
Yes a proper 110 would be nice actually, although I'm not a fan of having the second row of seats, I'd like just the big tray area or a tilt. Mmmmm now a tilt 110 for the summer ..........

I thought i was going to be away for a few years doing this job so it would have just crumbled again. Still, gives me the chance to dream of landies again :)

Muds,

Glad to hear it, should see you all after Christmas then hopefully :)

Oh and i still have the tool you gave me for the steering box, it didn't go with the series ;)

They are selling the tithonus dirt cheap at the moment, £3500, 125,000 miles. What is the 2.5 na diesel and lt77 box like? I'm so tempted! 😁

Land Rover Defender 110 Tithonus, Hard Top RHD, #68248 - MOD Sales, Military Vehicles & Used Ex MOD Land Rovers for Sale

2.5 na is as slow as Moses you won't see much above 55-60 and that sounds like the motor is ready to jump out .... I had a 110 ex army and a variant of the tithonoois was a ex marine wading model.. If your looking to spend that sort of money you would be better getting a wolf 90 some of them are factory fitted300tdi and are a much nicer vehicle in my opinion

I just got quoted 11,500 for a wolf 90 from ex mil sales! I'm guessing they are a lot cheaper elsewhere?
