Both have been removed from diffs due to the input bearing failing which was caused by my prop shaft seizing,

As they were removed I have fully stripped and cleaned, befor the locker and lsd unit are rebuilt I will take pictures of the internals for the new owner,

These make a massive difference off road and I dint think the on road manners were bad like some had said,

The only reason I'm selling and not rebuilding them myself is the wife is going to be using it for the stables instead of me a pay and plays, it just seamed a similar option to install standard diffs again, oh and I have a wedding to pay for in 5 months.

£300 Ono each, if someone wants them both I can do a deal,

To buy these new are £560 for the trutrac and £670 for the locker, I accept there not new but there half the price,

No it's not from a Salisbury sorry,

I can build these into diff housings if needed but they will be sold for £800 + then

Good price!!! I paid €400 for my Tru-trac and €600 for my Salisbury rear locker although my Detroit locker was brand new in the box as it was ordered for somebody by a friend and they never bought it :)

How much would it cost in parts to rebuild the pair?

Fozzie.

The are locking diff centers. you build them into your own diffs so the cost in parts is upto you and what condition your own diffs and axles are in and also if you want to uprate the shafts, CV joints etc

Thanks Dave,

It would be rear shafts, I bought the trutrac as its a lsd and doesn't lock, I know a lad who has one and hasn't broken a shaft or cv, I broke my cv but was age related not the diff as they don't put stress on the drive train,

Yep. Even standard rear shafts won't **** themselves the minute you drive off with a locker too especially if you don't have very aggressive tyres and drive with abit of sense and not just manfoot it everywhere.

If you drive like a cock, you'll bust shafts, CVs and everything else on all four corners with lockers but the great thing about lockers is you can get up hills and through tracks with far less need for speed and momentum as you would with open diffs.

I'm looking forward to fitting mine and bet the landy will be pleased too and less chance of breaking stuff as I might not see redmist as often when I can't get up hills or tricky tracks with what I have at the moment :p

Currently... it's just a case of POWWWWWWEEEER!!!:5bdriving:
sweet, I'm out... was that noise there before?

You will notice a massive once you fit them,

I ran standard rear shafts for a while and dint break anything, only upgraded cause I was offered Some hd ones.

I only started busting shafts when i fitted special tracks before that i ran for ages with the locker and 33 BFG muds and never once busted anything, fitted the special tracks and did two shafts in 4 months :(

There's bin a thread about special tracks going on to do with what size and what breaks ect.

Anything that creates more traction will put more stress on the drive train, how much depends on the driver.
