Detroit locker... What's it worth

I have a 24 spline detroit locker that I got to put on my landy. Never ended up fitting it due to changing plans. The over run function doesnt seem to be working which I'm told it's either seized or has a broken spring.
Question. How much is it worth as is and how much is it worth if I have it fixed.
 
On offer new for 395+vat but not in stock, I paid £400 for mine all nice and fresh from a guy that just revived it back from crown diffs,

When you say over drive? Do you mean it disengaging? If its broke its useless and worthless,
 
As put not over running.. Not disengaging so either broken spring or seized. Will probably phone crown diffs after new year. Just trying to find out what worth.

Had a few of these before on here. In working condition about 200

Last bloke got very offended at the valuation, sold it on ebay for £199

Gets to the point that much more than that and ther not worth the punt opposed to buying new. Problem is most second hand ones have been ragged. So when you can buy new for not a lot more it's not worth the risk.
