I'm going caravanning this weekend, Friday and Saturday nights, in the Peaks, green-laning Saturday and maybe Sunday morning. I had arranged for a group of us to go, but as things pan-out it seems there's only likely now to be possibly one other and me and the missus, so only two vehicles. We're starting Saturday morning, 10am between Bakewell and Buxton, doing Monsall Dale, Stanage, and a few others in between to arrive back near to camp, a (Memory Map) distance of 43.1 miles, with more than half of it laning.

I reckon that as it's been dry for a while (ish) then it'll be a relatively easy weekend, not much mud, but still challenging enough to be interesting.

Just wondered if anyone wants to join us for the days laning.

If you do pm me and I'll send you the start point and a Memory Map copy of the route if you want, or point you to a picture of it.

Sorry, I left between 11 and midday Friday so didn't see the message, you'd have been welcome .. we did Pindale and Roych .. ;) Also did Stanage, Houndkirk, Monsall Dale, Bamford and Hurstclough lanes, a few bits of the Limestone way that i don't know the names of, but interesting ... between dry-stone walls with mirrors almost touching and 90 degree bends that needed inch perfect manouvreing to get round cleanly, top weekend, if I say so myself ... ;)

Found a couple that have been restricted since I last did them a couple of years ago, so re-routing found one I didn't know of, so not too bad!!

Got a couple of videos to post later but they're on the laptop and I haven't transferred them yet.
