derbyshire laning

I was on northern monkey off road earlier, a lad had posted up he was driving cherpit/cherry pick lane and two walkers had set up a trap:

The wife stood at the edge of the lane in a narrow spot, and the husband stood further back partially obscured with a camera, obviously waiting to get good pics of 4x4s crushing his wife.

So we will have to be on our guard.

Exactly, feeble minded do gooders. As the main protagonist was a teacher and guessing her old man was a librarian.

But it's knobs like them who invented the Health and Safety Executive. So until they are exterminated we must be cleverer er er than thems is.

No i don't at all. I think they have started something that they have no comprehension of how big it is going to get.

Those poor guys from the Sheffield group who went to put their point across on the programme were to be brutally frank very ill equipped to deal with some jumped up rambler muppets.

BUT now, by the power of the t'interwebnet word has increased the power of the people to take them on in droves or Landroves. geddit???

Anyway, just a simple show of strength is sometimes enough to reach a compromise.

i totally agree, those poor guys tried their best at all of them meetings and got treat like nothing more than scum. i didnt see them hurling abuse at the ramblers/villagers, but they certainly got it thrown at them. what gives them the right to treat another human being, with just as much right as them, like they did? nothing!
im so glad i wasnt in that room because i would have been thrown out for dishing it back! fair enough, off roading aint there cuppa tea but theres a right way to go about getting things sorted like compromise, which is what they tried, and it was spat back at them.
so now, they all deserve to have to look at our muddy diffs and big fat 37" creepy crawlers because they wont be reasoned with!

Seriously I did feel they were way out of their depth. Offering to cut back some branches just made them look like fools.

I think just parking 30 Landy's on the pub car park would make them all reach for the tenna lady.

i think they will be monitoring all forums too but all this is is different peoples opinions. i know a lot of it is heated but im sure they have exactly the same somewhere else about us but we're not petty enough to go searching for it to use against them because we are all reasonable people that just like to have a bit of fun
