derbyshire laning

Have we decided on a meeting place yet?

I am coming from bury there guna be about four of us if anyone wants to meet up on the way and convoy to wear we are all meeting let us no

If there is room for one more (perhaps two if I can drag him off the farm) then it would be great to tag along.....seems that the numbers are growing!!

Will watch out for confirmed place and time.

Will be coming from the south peaks near Buxton. I have driven some of the lanes in the area before but always followed the leader so aint much use on the mapping front.

Who has the plan (if there is one!!)

Either way this is going to be a busy one.

I think an updated list is required!

If I do attend I will be bringing 1 or 2 cars also!

Guys I'm out of this now .. what started as a couple of groups of 5 Landyzone folks has now grown into some sort of cavalcade with various people bringing 'three mates'. Given that the Peaks are a delicate area at the moment I will be going elsewhere.
Will do the Peaks with a very small group sometime in the future. Enjoy

That's why I was saying I think it's time for a list here.

I think perhaps it should be members only of there's gonna be a large attendance. Or simply cap it to 12 places.

Must admit after reading this through and posting my question last night I had come to the same conclusion today and sorted another trip out this Sunday instead. So thats two less now!

Suppose thats the power of the forum can work with or against, good to see that there are so many folks into it though.

If it does go ahead would love to see some pics/blog etc?

Think you will find this post all started off about cherpit lane , great longstone ? and in jest it was said " lets get a couple of hundred landrovers together, go down in groups of 4 at a time" dont worry just split the groups up and wait ten mins at a time. why start ****ting yourself now ? thought you wanted to show the walkers , 4X4 HAVE RIGHTS TO.

Think you'll find the list got ignored long ago, before people started saying 'is there room for one more and if so I'll be bringing three mates' ... I'm off that list for sure and so is Funkykipper as we're elsewhere with ABarclay1800 joining us too.

i didnt think there would be that many wanting to go on the 11th i just thought it would be like last time think there was ten and as the day on went a few dropped off

i can do i have a map marked up was hoping to find some different lanes with the amount of people who wanted to come

I can bring some os maps so we could try and find some new ones on the day

I'm probably alright to make it I think.

Whether or not I'll bring any pals depends on how it looks.

I promised a lad we would shake down his 90, so I do need to go laning on the 11th, whether I'm with the group or elsewhere with this lad remains to be seen.

I would definitely recommend starting a new list, 6 places, with another group if a leader can be nominated.

Derby is a fair distance from the peak district.
