Sounds odd, but one of them is among my favourite lanes and it isn't even a true green lane! The road past Roystone Grange .. so picturesque, beautiful and always peaceful!!

Funny you should mention it, a mate and i were driving Roystone lane one night by surprise and be said to me 'you know it would make a great lunch spot round here'

I mean, I'll be genuinely surprised if it got damaged in transit to the extent where it cracked the matrix/pipes, but I suppose it could happen, although I can't really begin to doubt your plumbing if you can rebuild a land rover chassis up!!

I've tried it again mate and the plastic hose end has broken so I'm
Using the heater to get air flow and to black the hole in the dash and ie connected to pipes together to bypass the matrix, looks like its a thick Cora journey for me tomorrow haha

Right, Bump is loaded up, complete with a Disco rear axle thrown on top for good measure, so, we'll be setting off soon! (take's a long time to get anywhere in a Series )

I'd forgotten how little space you have in a truck cab with two people :s

Same here pal I'm all packed fluids checked and doozeled up ! And gas for stove under my seat so it's nice and warm for brekky !

Replaced my UJ this morn, glad I did, was a lot more fukced than I original thought! Bit of a tidy out, and get rid of accumulated crap.

Clean and top up my brew and cooking kit

Just need doozle in the morn then I'm set to go!

Bugger about that heater mate, daft thing is its not worth a claim off the courier cos it takes so much time and effort, pictures, statements etc - it's evidently designed to put you off!

In other news I'm pleased to say mr big is full of petrol, oil, water, grease, gas, bacon, sausage, egg, bread, cake, donuts, coke, coffee etc

Up at 5.45, away at 6.30, there at 7.45 I reckon with the kettle on!

Hmm... today i have struggled to get a disco out of the garden, down the drive onto a recovery truck, across to a guys house, off the truck, into his (amazing) workshop, lifted the body off, loaded the chassis back on the recovery truck, got it back onto my drive, taken the back axle off, got it into the back of the series, dropped it across to a guy 30 minutes away, and now sat at my parents doing my company accounts

So much for vehicle preparation time!

I've gotta finish rebuilding the dash tomorrow morning then I'm ready to go

After narrowly avoiding a trip to A&E (slipped off the box spanner whilst sorting rear bearings - blood p*ssing out everywhere like a good 'un... :faint2: ) I've finally sorted said wheel bearings, topped up the diffs and loaded it up ready for the morning.

Really looking forward to this one. See you all in't morning.

It was touch and go and died twice but I made it.

i went to spar and they had fook all for breakfast supplies so will get some at the supermarket in ashbourne.

Gonna have another glass of vino tinto then im going to bed.
