well thats put me off reading any more of it ....
reet then, seen as this is my manor, ive just spent the last half an hour reading this. its actually quite interesting.it seems my local council dont really havbe too much bother with ilegal off roading as there is a large fraternity of people that treat the lanes the correct way(me beig one of them). to be honest, i actually filled out the questionaire in our council paper and i was quite worried about what the outcome would be. however, it seems that we are going to be alright. i am aware of a few groups that try to put the kaibosh on the use of gren lanes locally but as long as you stick to the law then there is nothing they can do about it.
I have always found Denbighshire and for that matter Wrexham to have good ROW depts. Shame the same can't be said for Powys!!
Paul
I've been told area too big and too little population to support properly a row office.
I've also been told or a rumour that quite a few def maps are missing or too old to look at, or even don't exist, the parish councils did'nt pass everything on during all the reorgs over the years.
Have you actually ever seen one ?

i have the paper delivered by the council, a few years ago they sent a form around asking for people to form a peoples panel. all about dicussing local issues, so, being the fookin busy bodied, self opinionted bastid that i am, i decided to sign up.to be honest, its usually a load of old bollocks about parkin on the pavement or should we have wheelie bins etc, but i was quite interested when the rights of way questionaire was in there. it normally ends up on the bottom of the parrots cage, but i can keep it fer ya if yer like.
you are right in what you say about the lost paperwork since the abolition of the clwyd council. to be honest though, denbighshire are pretty good. i think flintshire are a poor example though
Thanks mate but i think I know the mag in question some council voice which i can get my hands on at the Doc's surgery since often have to wait half the day to get a 2 minuite appointment, plus often go to relatives who have them lieing around.
Seems there was two surveys short one in the mag and one for those in the know.
