I can't believe what happened with an order from paddocks.

I looked on the web, found the main item I wanted, but couldn't find the smaller items, I considered placing the web order there and then , and placing an order for the other bits later. Instead I called up and found the price of the smaller items- expensive (£50 compared to £17 locally), so i just went ahead and ordered the bulky part, not bad at £60 + VAT I thought.

If i'd ordered it by the web it would have been £69. They took the order and didn't say there was any charge for delivery, item arrived today, i ended up aying an extra £14 + VAT for using the telephone.

To ay I'm not happy is a bit short of howI feel.

Rant over.

Ring the ****s up and give em hell. They mess so many people around the only way they'll stop is if everyone makes a nuisance of themselves. They really don't give a hoot about customer satisfaction.

I rec'd a call from Craddocks at work today, apparently they called for me Saturday as well, but I'm mon-fri, they apologised for the confusion, stated the charge for delivery but accepted that the person hadn't mentioned a charge for delivery to me, and as a gesture of good will, i'll get a refund for the delivery cost.

I'm happy with that, so they'll probably get the delivery charge back out of me in profit again as I'll probably trust them to again and end up purchasing more stuff from them.
