Just pointing out that if Polsta was to follow your advice of just bunging a load of svo in his tank at the current outside temps were having he wouldn't getting ****ing far, would he?

Not getting stroppy, just don't want someone to **** up there motor for no reason.

well i wouldnt want to mess it up definatly not, so its not good to do in the cold weather ?? maybe get some stockpiled for the spring lol

thanks mate, i get what the dipping is, just never heard of it..and wondered how common place it is/where most likley/what veicles mostly, youd get dipped ?

i wont know till tomorrow, but its possible i could get a very good and permanent source of used oil

is it ok to just mix it 50/50 then ? and just filter any crap out before hand ?

do i mix it in the tank or mix before putting it in ?

if i can get lots of WVO, get as much as you can now and store it away until the weather gets better - pouring it straight in is fine, remembering to mix as required

filter the crap out, and if you are really keen there's plenty of info out there showing how to mix proper "bio diesel" which is a bit more complex than using the WVO raw

fook all this veg **** i'll stick with petrol and gas

Ice people want facts, you may just fill it with 100% veggie oil and see what happens, but not everyone treats their landys like that

^^^^^^
I think I did say it:p
you really are incapable of rational thought, as said I was trying to prevent someone damaging their motor by following your very insufficient advice.

But thanks for the inane insults, they remind how much I miss being being 4 years old.

100% SVO in tank, turn key....go...
Pretty simple...Don't over analyse....you remind of being 4 years old.

What's that....what's this, how's that, but how, are we home yet..FFS

Facts................104,000 miles, engine on 249,000....all good

If you took the time to read what Polsta said, he has access to a good supply of wvo not svo and there is a bit more to using that as fuel than just chuck it in and go, isn't there?

Read what people are saying and think about your response before spitting your dummy around.

Take what you want from my replies....I'm saying no more...If you want we can talk on the phone and discuss experiments.....:)

ive seen it before on the telly etc abouut people making bio, but never had a diesel so no need to take much notice, as said mate used to just wack supermarket bought oil in with diesel mixed, jsut to get a little bit more for his money, not take the **** with it, but that was an old van clocking up mega miles for work

id be interested in it all to just get a better value for miles to ££ ratio, rather than pure milage on current and rising fuel prices  , the idea of getting 30% more miles or something for my ££ seems good !!

il find out tomorrow about the used oil, im not sure if anyones got dibbs on it or its catered for or if i can get exclusive access to it, or im wondering even a percentage of it would be good, for me to filter and stockpile it up and let it add up for a few months until spring, to then start using with warmer weather, and also have that stockpile and topping up..to keep it going fine, if i can only get a percentage of it,ilf ind out, but its interesting for sure

any rough idea what more milage id get ?/more miles for the ££ if it was used ? id happily pay for diesel too , but to top up with that on top of every £10 at the pump spent, would be good, to just get that value for money and miles

bullcrapping fool

I've let you off lightly here, if you keep coming out with more of your unsubstantiated nonsense they'll make mincemeat out of you here - rightly so

I was quite happy to share my knowledge but after the replies from sean the sheep, I'll speak to peeps in private.
I'll be fecked if I'm going to help an obnoxious monkeys ball bag like Mr Sheep..

it's just maths to work it all out how much you'd save - if you get the WVO for free and you just it in high % mixes then you'll be saving lots

am sure you have a calculator :) if you are that keen
