Hi,

I've got a 200tdi defender with the later freestyle alloys. The hubs stick out a bit because of this.
I decided to change my tyres to get some beefier ones in. I've gone from 225 75's to 235 85's so I've not gone for anything daft.
However, they now rub on the front radius arm on full lock.
I've looked at putting spacers in.

Could anyone advice if these would push the tyres/wheels outside of the arch? As I don't really like the extended wheel arches unless I had even bigger tyres! I was thinking along the lines of 30mm.

Thanks in advance

As stated above, simply adjust lock stops to reduce the steering travel. I think there should be 20mm between arm and tyre.
