Series 2 defender type discs on series axles

reading in one of the mags you can fit defender swivel housing on series axle so you can have disc brakes
is this true can it be done without a plate to hold the caliper

not with a lot of fabrication, zeus do a kit ive fitted a few times ,but i favour leaving as drums

Look over on the OLLR or Seriously Series forum for the "Wild" ? conversion thread.
Like James I favour leaving as drums unless you are in deep water a lot. Never had a problem getting a Land Rover to stop well.
