Defender thefts

2 attempted thefts (vehs rolled of driveways into road) and a theft this week in Bolton/Wigan area. 300tdi's were the attempts and a Td5 was the stolen.
Don't know about the tdi's but there was no security on the Td5 which was taken from right outside the front door. Owner heard it fire up and ran outside to see it driving off down the street.

All occurred around 10:30 to 11:30 pm.

Hi everyone not sure if I am in th eright place for this but here goes. Attempt theft of my 02 Defender 90 night of Tuesday 4/5 th of Feb in the Yorks/Lancs border area, loads going from round here as everywhere. The only thing that saved my motor from being nicked was the Disklok. They spent some serious effort on trying to get it off but didn't manage. New one on now plus clutch claw overnight, would appear that there is no joined up thinking from the law and all these Land Rover thefts are being treated as seperate theft investigated by different individual officers..
